Resumo: | This work aims to develop a methodology for preparing cobalt ferrite nanocomposite with cobalt iron (CoFe 2 O 4 /CoFe 2 ) using new parameters. Cobalt ferrite was synthesized using the gel-combustion method, and subjected to thermal and mechanical treatment so that there is an interaction in the material's magnetic properties, using argon gas in the ferrite reduction process. The heat treatment was carried out at a temperature of 325°C over a period of 25 minutes and seeking a greater reduction, the treatment was carried out over a period of 50 minutes.Inserting argon gas during the heating ramp for 1 hour and 30 minutes until the tubular furnace reaches the reduction temperature. The mechanical treatment was carried out in a hydraulic press for 30 minutes, with the intention of creating a tablet with oriented magnetic grains, and the insertion of an external magnetic field; This process is something unprecedented in the literature, along with the use of argon in the heating ramp, with the aim of increasing the magnetic energy of the nanocomposite, increasing the reduction of ferrite as a tablet, so that there is no loss of coercivity and remanence of the nanomaterial. |
