Resumo: | The Information Technology and Communication, ICT calls are part of today's society, more and more embedded in the contemporary way of life. At the same time they are of unquestionable usefulness for improvement and efficiency of communication can be considered superficial, depending on its use. Castells (2003, p.7) states that "the new information technologies are not merely tools to be applied, but processes to develop." In this sense schools play a fundamental role, because education when it returns to digital inclusion should aim to enable the individual to assimilate content and so reworking knowledge. Thus, the intention of this research is to see whether in schools that use ICT is integrated in teaching route contemplating their use in the pedagogical projects of the courses, and, if the teachers responsible for guiding the students are prepared for this function therefore it is understood that the equipment alone does not generate knowledge. Using the methodology "Integration of ICT in school," created by OEI - Organization of Ibero American public elementary schools were surveyed in the city of Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Through structured questionnaire for managers and teachers, we sought to find out whether schools are prepared to meet the challenges of introducing these new technologies. More than simple tools they are processes that must be developed for the creation and generation of knowledge, considering that technological advances impose a constant reorganization. Part of this research was presented during the Congreso Iberoamericano of Science, Technology, Innovation and Education, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina between day 12 y 14 November 2014 and incorporated into the Congressional record, ISBN 978-84-7666-210- 6 Document 645. |
