Resumo: Having as context the vocal preparation in the Choir of the Federal University of Mato Grosso, the research, characterized as qualitative, participant and multi-case study, focuses on dialogues between discriminated actors, being them, the vocal coach and four choristers, one of each suit, in the teaching-learning process. This research presents discussions on how vocal preparation fosters the three dialogues of each actor, namely, the vocal coach and the chorister, the vocal coach with himself, and the chorister with himself. It is based on the identity and sense of belonging through dialogues of the body, presenting it as a place, as well as bridges of elaboration to which the cognitive and the motor, the image and the thought can connect through the person of the vocal coach and the chorister. To this end, it proposes the presentation of analyzes of four judges regarding their impressions and perceptions about the sound forms before audio-visual recordings about the influence of the body as a place as an exponential factor of belonging and the images constituted in the dialogues. Likewise, they present questions foreseen in the self-assessment carried out by the choristers about their experiences and impressions in the process of vocal development after each meeting performed in the UFMT Choir Space. Finally, it discusses the dialogues of the vocal coach with himself regarding his impressions, perceptions, and considerations about the feeling of belonging that vocal development generates to the singer as a reflection of his body identity through image as thought.
