O percurso acadêmico do trabalhador-estudante na graduação em Enfermagem : entre os plantões noturnos e o ensino diurno

Resumo: | The study aims to analyze the course of the academic student employee, Technical Nursing, inserted in undergraduate Nursing, in the Federal University of Mato Grosso in the University Campus of Sinop, trying to understand which are the strategies used by students to facilitate their stay in academic life . Compounding the methodological bases we used official documents and publications, which discoursed on that subject , as well as the precepts of field research with qualitative approach, via semi-structured interviews with employees academic, and later transcribed for analysis following the principles of content analysis proposed by Minayo. The results, after the interviews reading revealed the following categories: "The option for Nursing," highlighting - if the labor market, influence and affinity with the area, "University x Laboral Activity", in the later we addressed mainly the difficulties arised from working and studying concomitantly, "Student Assistance, what's that?", in this category we highlighted the lack of knowledge of the student-worker regarding the existence of programs that assist the students during graduation, " The Complementary Formation in the University ", it was found that the working students make use of additional training programs during their academic journey and what the conception of these programs is, and, finally," The experience of working in the university ambience”, in which it is demonstrated that the use of the work experience of the subjects during the academic route. Thus, this study demonstrates the existence of programs aimed at the student residence at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, however, do not include those who have gainful work activity according to what provides their publishings. This way we emphasize that in the National Student Assistance the criteria that would outline selecting grantees are not explicit, and neither it prohibits the use of grants and scholarships by workers-students. Due to what is showed, the students surveyed have created strategies that ensure their stay in the university, highlighting the shift change and workplace. The study indicates the need that the policy that keeps academic students of public education extends its benefits to the worker-student, as their presence in this level of education is increasingly common . |
