Resumo: | This work aims at the use of computer modeling as a resource for teaching Physics in High School approaching topics of Mechanics and Electricity. The generated product consists of a set of computer animations developed in JavaScript programming languages and Vpython 3D environment, and applied in first and third year of High School in the State School Professora Maria Lourdes Hora Moraes, located on the outskirts of the city of Barra do Garças - MT. Although the importance of using animations as a resource for teaching Physics is already established in many official documents, it is observed that these are not yet part of everyday teaching practice of most students and educators. There are many animations available free on the Internet, but we decided to create our own because this way we ensure achieving the specific objectives of this study. Our animations have been used in the classroom, before and after the introduction of the topics covered in Physics. In order to stimulate the curiosity and the interest of the students, some animations were created in the form of a challenge, so that the student could understand and reflect on an appropriate situation that he should build to solve the problem. This proposal has already been installed and during its application revealed that the complemented Physics teaching through interactivity and visual richness that the computing resourcesprovide, resulting in a greater involvement of students, demonstrating more motivation in learning the physical concepts in question. Within our reality, we conclude that the use of computer animations for educational purposes shows as great ally to the Physicsteaching. |
