Resumo: |
Between 2020 and 2021, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a need for social isolation to prevent the spread and contamination of the disease, drastically altering the global scenario. In the field of education, schools were closed, and educators were compelled to deliver their classes through digital technologies due to the shift from in-person teaching to Emergency Remote Teaching. In light of the above, this dissertation aims to narrate my experiences during Emergency Remote Teaching through Active Search as a teacher in two public schools in the city of Coxim, MS between 2020 and 2021. It also seeks to reflect on the main challenges encountered in this process and how my experiences in Emergency Remote Teaching and Active Search may influence future teaching practices, even after the return to in-person classes. Additionally, it aims to evaluate the impact of Active Search on my practice and describe how the Active Search strategy was developed by me during Emergency Remote Teaching. For this purpose, we will present a narrative and (auto) biographical research from a qualitative perspective, based on encounters with students in their homes through visits made by me, now referred to as Active Search. The theoretical foundation includes authors such as Freire (2013), Vasconcelos (2022), Gadotti (2007), among others. Among the results of this research, I can highlight significant changes in my pedagogical approach, leading to changes in how these students evaluate and understand themselves and others, as well as the importance of the school environment in their lives |
