Resumo: |
From classical to contemporary literature, it is possible to see that the female character has undergone significant changes. From a submissive and silenced subject, the character today has a voice, presence and critical positioning, demanding specific studies capable of unraveling how this protagonism occurs in literature. For this reason, the objective of this work is to analyze the process of female resignification in the work “Mulher explícita”, by Alciene Ribeiro. To this end, some of the twenty-three short stories were selected precisely because they challenge the traditional boundaries of narrative, providing a unique aesthetic experience. The relevance of this work is supported by the possibility of drawing a broader panorama about this new perspective and possible implications for literature. In this aim, the methodology was based on the bibliographical survey of materials correlated to the theme, in the creation of summaries and records, so that, finally, the crossing of sources provided a macrosystemic view of the narratological analysis to be carried out. Each chapter required specific works considering the desired objectives, but as a theoretical narrative guide it was studied under the aegis of the work “Discurso da narrativa”, by Gérard Genette”. With the organization of the materials, the ordering of the chapters and subtopics was carried out with the aim of covering all the topics that were necessary to prove the thesis. As a result, it was possible to conclude that there was a resignification in the characters in “Mulher explícita”, as well as the dual nature of the proposed concept. |
