Resumo: |
The study presents some reflections on the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the education of Dois Irmãos do Buriti/MS, due to the socio-spatial inequality that is revealed through emergency remote teaching. It is in this scenario that the Geography of Health presents itself as the center of discussions, as its concepts interconnect the conservation of the environment and health, in order to avoid or reduce problems and health problems. However, the Geography of Health theme is little explored by teachers and hardly appears in guiding documents and teaching materials. In this context, the reflections of the COVID-19 pandemic on education in the municipality of Dois Irmãos do Buriti/MS are analyzed and the contribution of Health Geography in the context of the school Geography discipline from the approach of textbooks of the final grades of education fundamental, from BNCC and from the Reference Curriculum of Mato Grosso do Sul. The work is characterized in bibliographic, descriptive, and exploratory research, quali-quantitative, with field study and data collection; an analysis of the teaching guiding documents (BNCC, RCC/MS) and textbooks was carried out, using the keywords: “health” and “Geography of Health”; two questionnaires were applied using Google Forms. The results showed that the Geography of Health is linked to human life, quality of life, prevention and combating infectious diseases. In education, it must be worked on in the form of concepts and activities that promote understanding to face epidemics or pandemics, thus demonstrating the importance of the teacher working on the theme, even if interdisciplinary. The inclusion of the student must be guaranteed by the school, even during the pandemic, however remote learning is a harm reduction policy and an attempt to link the student with the school, even in the face of digital exclusion. Therefore, it is not the solution for education, especially for elementary education I and II, as children need socialization with each other and with the teacher, interfering in the teaching and learning process |
