Resumo: |
The research on screen is linked to the Postgraduate Program in Mathematics Education (PPGEduMat) at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), along with the research line "Teacher Training and Curriculum" and is part of the production from "MANCALA – Study and Research Group on Mathematics Education, Culture and Teacher Training" (CNPq). The general objective aimed to analyze the perceptions of master's students in the area of Mathematics Education regarding the academic writing process. The work refers to an investigation, inspired by the post-structuralist perspective, which uses the narrative method of the German sociologist Fritz Schütze to understand the biography of the narrators: postgraduate students from the Southeast region of Brazil. To this end, the theoretical framework used the field of narrative research as a training practice, which is articulated with the life stories of employees. In methodological terms, the narrative constituted the main source of data production based on fundamental steps for the treatment and analysis of the information collected, namely: 1. Detailed transcription of the recordings and recording of notes made after the recording; 2. Formal analysis of the text or differentiation of the type of text; Sequential description of the structure; 4. Analytical abstraction; 5. Contrastive comparison; 6. Construction of a theoretical model. In this sense, we interviewed a master's student, a master's student and a master's student from Postgraduate Programs from the perspective of [Trans]Seeing the World of academic research in their narrated biographies. Thus, the study attempted to demarcate the path and characterize who are the people who dedicate part of their lives to scientific production with investigations in Mathematics Education, while we were able to verify their life trajectories in formation through narrative research.
