Resumo: In the year 2021, beef cattle raised around BRL 913.14 billion. However, the broad production capacity and income in the sector may suffer from poor cost management. The price of beef in recent years has been on the rise, the high world price has encouraged producers to increase productivity. Global demand remains strong, even with inflationary pressures and logistical problems that afflict several countries, however, expectations are optimistic, as many countries have already lifted Covid-19 restrictions. At the moment, the Brazilian sector is in the recovery phase of the production cycle, the low availability of cattle in 2021 reflected in the increase in prices, a context that encourages cattle ranchers to increase their stock. Brazil is a major player in world livestock, constantly Brazilian production systems are overcoming new challenges in order to provide a product with quality and safety. Management control is fundamental for the “homeostasis” of a production system, and provides the necessary conditions for good rural management. The action in the control of operations is related to the vitality and progress of rural properties, in addition to greater productive gains in the livestock system.
