Resumo: | Planning is part of the teacher's role in organizing the content to be taught, but this is not always possible when considering the school environment and its availability. The methodology of the present research had a sample composed of 20 students of the 9th grade, class A of the Municipal School Doutor Xenofonte Mercadante located in the city of Orizânia - MG. The students answered a questionnaire about the reasons for not participating in the PE classes, based on the answers, it was verified that the repetition of contents was the main reason causing discomfort to the students in participating in the classes. The questionnaire was designed with the aim of obtaining more information about the students, generating subsidies to understand their socioeconomic and cultural reality, as well as their expectations regarding the curricular component of PE. Through 28 questions, between closed and open, printed on an A4 sheet of paper, a time of 20 minutes was stipulated to answer. All students answered the questions before the end of time and did not fail to answer any questions. The aim was then to create a Didactic Unit to be developed over a period of 26 classes. Where the student was given the protagonism in the elaboration of the planning in order to reduce the distance from classes and, by having the student as co-author in the elaboration of the Didactic Unit, also contemplate a greater number of corporal practices developed in the classes. At the beginning of the research, it was noticed a certain insecurity of the students about whether they would in fact have an active voice in the choice of contents and if, in fact, they would be treated in class. The premature mistrust was soon overcome and did not serve as an obstacle to the elaboration and development of the Didactic Unit. This research aimed to investigate the reasons that cause students to withdraw from Physical Education (PE) classes as they progress through the school years, in addition to seeking to understand how PE has been treated within the school, in particular, from the point of view of pedagogical development and, how the students of the Doutor Xenofonte Mercadante School perceive the curricular component within their academic life. Through the analysis of the achieved results, it was proved that the distance between the students and PE classes decreased and it was still possible to contemplate body practices within the school that the students had never experienced. The research proved that practices that have sport as a hegemonic content within Physical Education classes can occur. As well as, it was pertinent to enable the student to play a leading role in their learning process. |
