Documentos de proteção ao patrimônio cultural: as decorrências da falta de uso, uma proposta para valorização e simplificação das informações neles contidas

This paper proposes to do a critical analysis of the mechanisms of public politics of cultural heritage protection of Minas Gerais State, and to indicate possible solutions based on some tools of the information science. These tools have as their instrument, the ICMS of cultural heritage that, along twenty years, has been shown an efficient mechanism of financing in the protection and safeguard of the people from the mentioned state. But, according to the presented datas in this paper, its observed that participation and understanding of the local communities are still very incipient, although the public politics and its regulation of their cultural heritage require the empowerment. The aim of this paper is to make a critical analysis about losses caused by the lack of knowledge of the councils that, mostly, dont have access to the information retrieval that is in the documents, and to indicated ways, using to some tools from the information science in order to try to minimize these losses. It was used a qualitative methodology, substantiated on the documental research and analysis, to observe some difficulties found by the councils. Through the descriptive analysis of the case studies its observed the acknowledge the actors who take part of the municipal public politics of cultural heritage protection and its consequence. As a final consideration its possible to say that: the documents generated for the IEPHA are very important, because they are largely used in this paper as a source of research. And it's expected that through of the dialogue started in these paper, the information science, architecture, library science and others sciences can start new researches related to the documents of the ICMS of cultural heritage in Minas Gerais state and, in this way, to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Public Politics of the Cultural Heritage.
