Resumo: In this research, by approaching expressiveness as an embodiment of desires, intentions, and necessities, we look for auxiliary ways in the development of expression for singers. Departing from the Laban studies applied to the singing art, we tried to make the expressive skills become more objective. We did not intent to quantify or to determine expressiveness levels, but instead, to observe, to decode it, as well as produce different qualities of expression. In this research, we agrupped the voice of Laban to our own voice and this dialogue contributed to the creation of a methological path, which comprises new series of exercises and scenic building tools. By understanding voice, first of all, as body movement (although not just this), we traced gradual vocal and corporal movement possibilities. We hope that with these resources, singers can feel more confident when dealing with the several intermedia present in their job. The singer can use his or her voice and body as meeting points for musical, theatrical, plastic and literary expressiveness.
