Resumo: | The present work aims to present the feasibility of the implementation of conflict mapping methodology in restorative juvenile justice programs. Starting with Resolution n°. 225/2016, of the National Council of Justice, restorative practices assume a fundamental role of expanding access to justice for the young through a dialogical, consensual, voluntary and confidential way throughout Brazil. The family and the community are called to participate and contribute to the transformation of the reality of adolescents in conflict with the law, historically renegade to closure and condemned by the misfortune of their own stories. This work includes the explanation of the field research carried out in the Restorative Juvenile Justice Pilot Program of the Argentinean municipality of San Isidro, where the methodology of conflict mapping integrates a systematized circuit of study and analysis of the conflicting relationships triggered behind the crime, Adolescent and the victim a coordinated and structured narrative for the planning of restorative strategies. The guiding hypothesis is that mapping consists of a skill that can be inserted into Brazilian restorative projects and programs, forming an essential methodological framework for the work of facilitators in the face of the complexity of the conflicts that occur daily. In this sense, a panorama will be drawn on the slow and late process of building access to juvenile justice in Latin America, with a focus on Argentina and Brazil, and the consequent diffusion of restorative justice as a line of research on the rise. Then, the theoretical exposition of the characteristics and elements that outline the theories of conflict and mapping will culminate in the practical analysis of the case study. |
