Resumo: | This work presents the design, implementation and the test results from a telemetry system for manned or unmanned aircraft. The development of the system required the design of many subsystems to support the transmission of the telemetry signals over wires and wirelesslinks in order to reduce interference and attenuation on such. The presented the results were obtained using sectorial, directional and omnidirectional antennas on the receiver side. At the aircraft, transmission side, were used an omnidirecional antenna. There are presented also the results obtained using a directional antenna with a pointing device, that points the antenna to the aircraft, during its flight to obtain a better signal intensity and therefore a better quality and link reach. The design details presented includes the methodologies used for flight tests, validation and characterization of the system. It shall be noticed that the telemetry system presented in this work was integrated with the "Sistema de Aquisição de Dados do CEA (CEAFDAS)" that is currently used for flight test activities (Oliveira, 2008). |
