Resumo: This thesis sought to discuss management in the context ofthe solidarity economy. lt started from the assumption that different logics lead in goals and different efficiencies, which points to the impossibility of thinking about the replicability of the same instrumental management V to different organizational contexts. As observed Tragtenbcrg, Motta, Raines, Faria, Tenorio and Aktouf, management is a social construct, which implies that its techniques, tools and functional areas are filled with ideologies. Thus, the main obiective was to contribute to reframing central knowledge management, since the use of traditional management theories do not account for embracing the diversity of objectives of solidarity organizations. While methodological approach, sought to conduct a literature review on the production of management in the social economy, analyzing journals, conterences, dissertations and theses in the national and international area. Use was also a research participant in a central social cooperatives located in Venezuela, by considering the peculiar characteristics in their mode of management. Based on the results of the literature review and the empirical object, is proposed to rethink the dimensions ontological, principles, techniques and functional areas of administrative knowledge, taking into account the peculiarities of social economy organizations.
