Resumo: | In Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Nietzsche says that he only considers valid what is written with blood, and if there is a writer who took that phrase seriously, giving all her blood for her writing, this is Sylvia Plath. In spite of her suicide, this is a study on life. The existence in a very intensity way, the tragic / Dionysian spirit as potency of life, whose results were versesof extreme violence such as those found in Ariel. But Plath did not become a great poet overnight. It was necessary to tread an arduous path. So, because the focus is that journey, in spite of the power of her verses, in this work we take as central corpus the Unabridgedjournals of Sylvia Plath, since there, in the notebooks kept for long years, we can feel her quest to gain a full view of her condition and become, finally, Sylvia Plath. |
