Resumo:	We studied the problem of characterization of the polarization states transformations of scattered light by depolarizing media by Mueller formalism. By decomposition of the Mueller matrix in convex sum of Mueller-Jones matrix, we studied the spectral properties of this decomposition and its relation to the filling of the Entropy × Index of depolarization diagram of optical media.
