This dissertation intends to investigate fake news appealing, in its construction, to a customized design, which aims to imply the own knowledge of the psychoanalytic field and its position in relation to the truth operator. To this end, the work was divided into four chapters: in the first one, the notion of fake news is defined; in the second, the effects of fake news on the knowledge class are attested, through the literature itself on the subject; in the third, the position of psychoanalysis in relation to the truth is discussed, laying the foundations of the proposal of apprehension of pseudo news; finally, in the fourth chapter, the progression of truth through its fictional structure is approached, articulating it to the register of the real, in view of the unreal that it bears. This path is guided by the provocative effect of fake news on psychoanalytic knowledge, which enables the construction of a conceptual reading of the truth, emphasizing the real dimension of this category.
