Resumo: | This work investigates the group of eighty-four judges who acted in Minas Gerais during the eighteenth century. They were responsible for implementing the Justice and several other aspects of administration as magistrates, judges of the Crown and other positions that may be accumulated with the principal. Were important agents for the implementation and execution of political and administrative practices of the Crown at the local level. It is intended not only to understand the role of the judiciary in the political and administrative structures of Minas Gerais in the eighteenth century but also the role that the occupation of positions in one of the most important areas of the Portuguese Overseas Empire had on Careers and projects for social mobility of this group ministers. |
