Resumo: Spare parts stocks are a point of attention in most companies, as well as they have high investment costs and low turnover which complicates the management of stored materials. A major issue difficulty is balancing the capital invested in spare parts inventory and the appropriate level of service to customers. Parts kept in stock are intended to allow the maintenance and operation of the production process or services to consumers. The management of those materials is the later stage to the formation of stocks. The previous step is the decision-making process of stocking spare parts involving employees from the areas of operation, maintenance and supplies. This project proposes the study, critical review and development of a model that helps decision making by applying the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and the problem of linear programming backpack. For storage MRO (maintenance, repair and operation) in order to make it more suited to the continuous production processes of mineral processing within a supply chain. The objectives are presented, the description, the problem and the methodology to be applied and results are presented.
