The primary objective of this paper is the textile typologies production, trade and circulation in Brazil between 1750 and 1816 focused through a proposition of systematization of the study a cataloguing of ecclesiastics textiles objects, aim your knowledge, valorization and agreat conservation, passable to be introduce in the Brazilian museums. This argument is very important for different areas of the knowledge, once that the history of textiles in Brazil is little known, a fundamental question to understanding the location of the national collections.Given that we have the results of the study of the ecclesiastics permanents of the Museu Arquidiocesano de Arte Sacra de Mariana/MG, we suggest a confrontation of this dates with some ecclesiastics textiles objects of the collection of São Luis do Maranhão, both archdiocese historically corresponded in the same period being connected with the Kingdom of Portugal. This study was made through the construction of the processes of multiple investigations, analyzed in association with different methods and methodologies used in some international museums. The historical and artistic results were gauge through somescientific methods of the Technical Art History realized on ACICOR/UFMG, oriented by Prof. Dr. Luiz Antônio Cruz Souza.
