Resumo: | It its presented the development of a portable and lightweight equipment for energy meter calibration on field, without relying on the use of a battery to ensure its operation, capable of performing all necessary tests required by current technical standards in Brazil, providing a significant cost reduction and shortening the duration of the whole current process. The instrument automates all tests, has its own load up to 50 A and prints, via Bluetooth printer, an on site technical report with the main information of the measurement process. Technical requirements for the device to be viable are presented. It is shown the advantages of its use, as well as a technical analysis of its main functionalities and relevant hardware and software resources. An equipment's MVP was calibrated by an accredited laboratory, having all its functionalities validated. It already has a commercially available model. It is an innovative, point-of-use market solution for the entire field calibration process, reducing costs and lead time related to a standard energy meter verification procedure. |
