Resumo: Geodiversity and biodiversity, constituents of the natural environment, maintain int imate and complex relationships between them. In general, it can be said that biodiversity finds the basis to settle and develop in the diversity of geological environments. Recent studies have sought the valorization, dissemination and conservation of geodivers ity. Ferruginous geosystems, spatial units whose lithology consists mainly of ferruginousrocks, are characterized as rich geodiversity and biodiversity environments. However, anthropic activities, especially mining exploration, have irreversibly impacted these environments. The Serra do Gandarela National Park holds a significant part of the biodiversityassociated with these environments, as well as important geodiversity elements, represented by significant speleological patrimony, canga formations, water resources, historical and paleoenvironmental sites. This work has modeled the didactic use potential associated with geodiversity in this National Park and has identified and inventoried some of its geodiversity sites, evaluating them qualitatively and quantitativelyand the risk of degradation. It is hoped, therefore, to contribute to the knowledge, valorization and conservation of the geodiversity present in this park.
