Resumo: This dissertation is the result of a study about work on the architectural site, more specifically on the worker's experience in their daily practice in civil construction. In order to make the understanding of the subject more complex, an attempt was made to make visible and positive a set of know-how that makes up the daily life of this type of construction site, without, however, erasing existing conflicts and contradictions. In that regard, in addition to theoretical research on the subject, was developed an undergraduate course that connected architecture students and civil construction workers, in order to demonstrate this know-how. Based on reports, images and drawings made by the workers, it was possible to gather fragments of their practices and memories, both at the heteronomous construction site in which they worked, and at their self-built house. As an object of analysis, the set of these materials is organized in such a way as to raise and provoke discussions about possible approaches between constructive knowledge and the academic practice of architecture.
