Resumo: It is astonishing the number of papers devoted to study the themes of femininity and psychosis inside and outside the psychoanalytic field. Therefore, in this path of scientific investigation, the definition of the research focus the relation between original femininity and the manifestation of mental automatism in psychosis was a guide to limit the axis of the argument adopted. Taking as a parameter the psychoses related to the situations of intense physical and mental suffering and the propitious field that those situations bring to the manifestation of psychosis, were chosen, from the researcher's clinical experience, cases of patients in hospital with serious organic diseases. For this purpose, the methodology of psychoanalytic case construction studied in the institution was privileged. In order to establish the association between original femininity and psychoses, it was necessary a careful study of On the female origins of sexuality by Jacques André, and a small tour in Jean Laplanches general theory of seduction. There was also a selective investigation about the issue of femininity and psychosis in the work of Freud and Lacan and in Clérambaults studies. Finally, as a way of showing the relation between femininity and psychosis, some troubling questions about the psychoanalytic theory of psychosis were drawn, with the constitution of some conjectures to answer the questions raised.
