Resumo: In face of concerns that are present in my work with Portuguese in elementary school and in view of the increasing manifestation of the students by writing on digital media, a teaching project was formed and became subject of this research. With a qualitative research, it seeks to analyze the construction and the supply of a Facebook page as a work strategy with writing on digital media. Considering the text in a dynamic and procedural dimension, it was launched a look at the experience focused on the analysis of the production intricacies to the text published on the page. We investigated the extent of the construction and the supply of this page, by students of the 9th grade of elementary education at a public school in Betim, in terms of the contributions to the text production process at school. Twelve classes were developed aimed at producing contents, in groups, to be published. The analysis of the process allowed us to see that the project has sown the students awareness of possibilities regarding the speech process that permeates the support of the page and contributed to the expansion of students education regarding to ethical and responsibility in relation to writing and it is published on social networks on the internet. The results indicate that, although there is the idea that teenagers dominate the digital tools and are immersed in technology, many educational projects still need to be made to help students change from mere consumers to into content producers on networks like Facebook
