Resumo: This dissertation searched about how gay students experience their sexual orientation within a public school organization of High School in the city of Sabará and also what are impacts of such experience for the students schooling. The theo-retical framework is based in the concepts of the micropolitics of school organiza-tions, analyzing how these students interact with the various people within that school context. Here, homosexuality is a focus, thus this study searched to compre-hend howthe existing interrelationships in the school impact the experience of the gay students and which were the perceptions of others about gay students (their experiences), dealing with sensitive issues such as sexuality and sexual diversity. School has the role to educate the individual for the ethical and citizen experience. Nonetheless, whenit comes to sexual diversity, schools still holds values that gen-erate exclusion from those who do not 'fit' in a heterosexual norm, ignoring and neglecting homophobic institutional practices and, sometimes reproducing innu-merable violences. The methodology adopted was a qualitative research, using two investigative techniques: 1. Semi-structured interview with the gay students and with teachers/pedagogue; 2. Discussion group with the other students from the same school. Interviews with the three gay students aimed to understand how they expe-rience their sexual orientation inside the school. Interviews with two teachers and one guiding were also done tounderstand how they perceive teachers and students interact with gay students inside school. The second technique, discussion group, there were eight students (five women and three men). It aimed to understand how the interrelations between the students and the declared gay students took place. From these data sources, data triangulation was done, as well as content analysis aiming to comprehend the questions described above. Our data indicates that prejudices persist inside theschool, especially in relation to the homosexual orientation. Teachers still have difficulties to deal with these issues, either because they lack of training or because of their personal values. Also, in this lack of organizational program to help these gay students, they create by themselves many strategies to deal with the constant discrimination against them inside school. Thus, this study suggest an urgency to workwith teachers and students, in an open way and with dialogue, about issues of sexuality and also its damage implications for students lives. This work should not be restricted to the classroom, but should expand this educative measure to the school community in general, parents or responsible, as a way to guarantee access to education and a life with dignity for these young homossexual students.
