Resumo: | The world's population above 60 years is approximately 650 million people. In2007, Brazil already had 20 million people. This study evaluated the changes related toquality of life of elderly patients in primary care units in the northeast of BeloHorizonte, after interventions playful. This is a quantitative, descriptive andcomparative. The sample of convenience and was attended by 98 people, divided intothree Basic Health Units (BHU) in the northeast region of Belo Horizonte, MinasGerais. After the speeches play, this sample was reduced to 30 people, considering onlythose who participated in all meetings. The quality of life of older people was evaluatedby collecting data in an interview, using the abbreviated questionnaire WHOQOLWHOQOL-OLD and the World Health Organization, and form a socio-demographicand health status to identify the profile the sample, defined by the researcher. Datacollection was done in two phases: before and after the dynamic play, from March toJune 2009. The intervention took place once a week for four weeks. Were used asdynamic intervention theater / theater games, glue, hot potato, and mime. By statisticaldata, there was a trend towards improvement of quality of life, after the dynamic play,the issues related to overall assessment of quality of life, the WHOQOL-shortened. Thenovelty can become an instrument mediator to facilitate interpretation andunderstanding of a phenomenon experienced by the elderly, and provide, as appropriate,a new formulation and a new proposition to act on the reality they live. This newproposal aims to seek a better quality of life for this elderly. The playful produces arepresentation of the world embedded in reality. |
