Resumo: | This research intends to analyze the unfolding/typologies that the private assumes in public universities from the reform of the superior education implemented in the period of 1995 the 2002, emphasizing the Universidade Federal do Pará. The intention was to analyze how the process of privatization is becoming natural at this university and raising changes on its organization. The conjunctural crises that affects the superior public education is related by the State reformation inseminated for the Brazilian government as a part of the world strategy to face the crisis of capital accumulation, organized for international organisms like Fundo Monetario Internacional e o Banco Mundial, whose objectives are redefine the functions of the State on social politics, transferring specific functions of lender of services to the market. Such reform has taken the university to the adhesion of a new educational model that privileges the commerce of education as the only mechanism of overcoming the educational crisis, induced for the federal government, in the perspective to create the conditions for the privatization. This research emphasizes the naturalization oh what has been materialized by the different actions adopted and accepted for groups of students who started to accept those ideas of rational modernization , by the privatization of the university activities. The consequences of these politics done at UFPA are making the university become just a service render that attends only the exclusive demands of the capitalist market. The analysis of the contracts/accords of services installments made between UFPA and public and private companies, emphasized in this study, even though they have different purposes, configures real examples where the knowledge was changed into merchandise. Technology became the principal purpose of the science, making its objectives and guiding its activities. The university institution, in turn, of a knowledge maker became a social organization, abandoning the graduation and researches to enter on the competitive market, subordinating its academic production to the demands and necessities of the capital and market imposed by the financiers. |
