Resumo: | It is known, nowadays, that very few has been studied and researched about the water used in the concrete productions. And it is in this context that we have the possibility to study the concrete fabrication using the magnetic water, also used in researches developed in Russia, China, Japan, United States and now in Brazil. The magnetization of water causes a decrease in its superficial tension, offering better hydration to the cements compounds. In face of this improvement in hydration on increase in the concretes compressive strength, consistency and workability are registered, comparing to a concrete with the same composition, but prepared with normal water, not previously treated. The results showed that the compressive strength of the concrete prepared with magnetized water was higher than those prepared with normal water. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the consumption of cement, as well as the concretes production costs in the civil construction industry. |
