Resumo: The Northern region of Minas Gerais has soil and climate conditions that favor the mineralization of soil organic matter, and the no-tillage system is an alternative for the conservation of carbon in the soil. In this context, the objective of this study was to evaluate the soil fertility at different sampling depths in areas irrigated with calcareous water, cultivated in no-tillage and conventional system in Montes Claros/MG. Soil samples were collected in layers from 0 to 10, 10 to 20 and 0 to 20 cm in depth from three different areas – uncultivated, conventional and no-tillage. In general, low confidence interval values were found for the random samples collected in each area evaluated, as well as for classification into classes of interpretation of the avarege, minimum and maximum values of each variable. For phosphorus, there were no differences in P2O5 dose recommendations as a function of the soil layer sampled. For potassium, in the conventional cultivation system, the amounts of K2O to be recommended were different depending on the interpretation class of the results of the layers 0 to 10 and 0 to 20 cm of depth, while, for the no-tillage system, there was no there were differences in the doses to be recommended.
