Os impactos na vida dos educandos da educação de jovens e adultos a partir do acesso à informática na escola

This research had made with students, Youth and Adults Education, at a public school of Belo Horizonte. Main objective would investigate if there were positive and negative impacts to their lives after they accessed Information Technologies and Communication, through practice at a school institution. Thus, the research interviews and observes them trying to see if the computer classes at school bring some change to their social life, friendship, family, culture, professional or educational issues etc. The methodological procedures used were of qualitative character. We conducted a review of the literature on topics such as Education of the Youth and Adult, literacy, digital inclusion, Information and Communication Technologies, ethics and diversity at school, among others. To better understand the subject in focus, I tried to establish a dialogue with the contributions of Paulo Freire, Pierre Lévy, Marc Prensky and others. The results showed that for some their first contact with the computer were at school. For the majority who has used the equipment, the access was growing up satisfactorily, from contact with the computer in the school. It was concluded that access to computers at school has brought positive impact in the lives of students.
