Resumo: | The purpose of this work is to present the Thurston theorem about the actions of the earthquakes on the Teichmüller space. This theorem says that two hyperbolic structures on a closed surface are related by one left earthquake. We provide an exposition of the theory of Teichmüllerspaces and geodesic laminations. |
