Influência de um programa para adolescentes com grupos operativos no processo de educação em saúde

Resumo: The Health System Foundation FIAT promotes health and quality of life of its employees and their families, witnesses today over 7.093 million adolescents, which corresponds to 14.6% of system users of the company FIAT, an automotive assembly plant located in Betim/MG. In order to humanize care teenager it was created in 2003, an adolescent health program designed to promote effective action of character education and prevention through the use of the technique of operative groups. This study aims to assess the knowledge of the children of workers of FIAT before and after participation inthe operating groups in respect of matters pertaining to adolescence: gender and sexuality, pregnancy, drugs, anatomy, growth and development, youth leadership and citizenship. To this end, a database was created from a Knowledge Questionnaire (pre and post test) on the issues, applied to adolescents before and after the group experience. It was also created another database with social economical information, demographic and lifestyle habits (Questionnaire of Social Anamnesis). It was performed twenty-nine groups with the maximum of 15 participants in the period of2003 to 2010 totalizing a participation of three hundred forty-five adolescents. For analysis of this work it was considered the years 2005 to 2010 with the completion of twenty four groups. Through this knowledge questionnaire it was possible to evaluate the percentage of correct answers using the nonparametric Wilcoxon test, and with the social history it was possible to perform the quantitative analysis of these descriptive data. For the nominal or categorical variables frequency distribution tables were made used for continuous variables. Measures of central tendency and variability, in all analyzes considered a 5% level of significance. For data entry was used sofware Epi-data version 3.1 and for analysis the SPSS version 12.0. According to the results presented there was an increase in percentage of hits ineach year, and the average percentage of correct answerson the pretest was 54.3%, from 71% at post-test and the difference was statistically significant (p< 0 value, 05). It was concluded that operating group technique is a good strategy topromote health. The results of this study show the importance of working together information on relevant topics of adolescence.
