Resumo: | Comparative study of the style of systems analysts, librarians, tecnology diffusers and editors who perform as managers in the information systems coordenated by EMBRAPA, EMBRATER and CENAGRI through the applications of the Management Grid created by Robert Blake and Jane Mouton. Two hypotheses were tested: the first suggests the existence of differentiated managegement styles among the categories and the second, that the institucional objectives and characteristics of the of the categories have and influence on the adoption of styles. The data was collected in the self-explanatory questionmaires, sent to a group of 334 professionals in the three instittutions. One hundred an fifty eight rsponses were received and the data analysis lead to the following conclusions: no difference exists between the management styles adopted by the categories, with style 9.9 being dominant and style 5.5 the first subdominant. The institutional objectives and the functional characteristics contributed to the adoption of the styles. |
