Resumo: | Focuses the search approach and dialogue between Archival , Library Science , Museology and Information Science field of study as having the experience of common core subjects and academic activities proposed by the School of Information Science , UFMG . Aims to analyze the perception of teachers at this school about this experience in order to contribute to know the limits and possibilities of rapprochement between the areas . Understand the difficulties of putting this proposal into practice is important to rethink the relationship between the three areas and Information Science in Brazil . The faculty of the School of Information Science , UFMG constituted group of informants . Data were collected through semi - structured interviews with 16 teachers who define a purposive sample , the theoretical framework addressed the trajectory of historical development of the areas involved , the process of institutionalization of these areas in Brazil , the science of information as a possible basis for rapprochement between areas , and finally some experiments approach among the areas highlighted by the proposal of UNESCO and schools newly created courses in Museology and Archival via Gather . The results highlighted in the first place , the difficulty of teachers to accept the initial design of the ECI- UFMG that information science would be the common structure of training for the three areas . Most of the respondents felt that these areas have the conceptual basis Applied Social Sciences . Information Science would be a fourth area at the same hierarchical level . The interviewees emphasized the autonomy of areas in their relations with the Information Science . Finally , the paper presents the vision of teachers about the convergence between areas , with emphasis on the question of the object of work and themes memory and heritage. Presents the points of divergence between the areas with emphasis on the specificity and uniqueness of each area . Finally discusses the proposed common core of ICE - UFMG highlighting the main problems faced by the teachers of the three courses at the time of implementation of the proposal. |
