The objective of this work is to apply to the Area of Health of the Child and the Adolescent techniques of Computation and Engineering to assist and to support professionals of the pediatric area. A System was created Specialist of support to the diagnosis of more common infant and older child illnesses. This system of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine iscapable to reason through information chosen for the user when sailing in the screens presented for the program. To make possible the implementation of: 1) A system of Computational Intelligence for support to the diagnosis of the more common infant and older child illnesses, 2) The computerization of used handbook models in the ambulatory ones ofthe Hospital das Clínicas of the UFMG, 3) The access to the archives of First Consultation and Consultation of Return of the patients, 4) The construction of growth curves presented in graphs weight-for-age, length-for-age, head circumference-for-age and weight-for-stature thatuse curves for percentiles 10, 25, 50, 75, 85 and 90 (these basing on information of the National Center for Health Statistics), a computational tool was developed and that has friendly graphical interface. This was projected to facilitate its execution for users of computers, exactly that these do not dominate the programming techniques well.
