This dissertation seeks to investigate in a causal way the factors that led the architecture of football stadiums to generate socio spatial segregation. Taking into consideration morphological aspects of entertainment spaces from the Classic Antiquity to contemporaneity, the causes are presented and the consequences analyzed of the public determination agendas as much global scale events such as regional ones. From the agents systematization and actors involved on social filter and in geometry of power determination that football has been shown in the last decades, will be possible to identify the phenomenum of sport elitization itself to the detriment of your popular origin. This Dissertation also contemplates the acting of architecture and the spaces conception in this process, that had been started in Europe in late 80's and consolidated in Brazil previously and after the FIFA World Cup in 2014.
