Resumo: | Innovation is considered one of the most important competitive advantages of nations. So are undertaken various efforts to increase it, by the governments and the private sector, with emphasis on investments in research. However, for these to materialize in innovation, there must be the embodiment of research into products and services to market. But considering that most research institutions is not primarily aim commercially exploit their inventions, it is necessary to encourage technology transfer process. This research, based on the change of the Brazilian regulatory framework relating to innovation in 2004, and considering the rise of open innovation concept in 2003, aims to investigate the factors that can stimulate technology transfer process in Brazil. Therefore, the quantitative research was used in the analysis of the research groups of the directory in Brazil, the CNPq website, and its relationship with business. In the qualitative perspective, institutions of Science and Technology were interviewed, and three were analyzed in depth in a multiple case study. From these analyzes it has been proposed two groups of factors that can stimulate technology transfer in the country: immediate action and complex actions. |
