Resumo: | The modelling of two-layered wood beams with interlayer slip using the finite element package SAP90 is presented. Plane stress and beams elements were employed to model respectively the solid wood components and the connectors. Supported wood T-Beams, with an average span of 4400 mm and span/height ratio of 21 were constructered and tested in laboratory for comparison with the modelling. Prior to the construction of beams, the material properties of each component and the load-slip characteristics for the connectors were determined. The load midspan deflection relationship, load slip-curve for the connectors, as well as, the distributions of strains through the depth of the member were monitored through the tests. The beams were also analyzed employing the software FLOOR, specific for the nonlinear modelling of layered systems with interlayer slip. The comparison of these results with two finite element models (SAP90 and FLOOR) indicates good correlation. |
