Resumo: The maintenance of the fresh concrete for a longer period would be of great interest concrete plants, because it allows the direct reuse of returned concrete without washing concrete mixers and treatment of rinse water. The use of stabilizing additives hydration (AEH) would allow such a procedure. In this paper it is evaluated the effects of AEH on the properties of pumpable concrete. The materials used in the manufacture of it was concrete studied are CPV ARI RS cement, natural quartz sand, powdered limestone, crushed limestone. It was determined the properties of fresh and hardened concrete in the laboratory and industrial scale. The data indicated that the addiction of AEH in pumpable concrete promotes change in the initial and end setting time and it also improves the properties of concrete in terms of loss relief. As for the properties in the hardened state it was found that the use of AEH promotes an increase in the compressive strength of concrete after 28 days and that the modulus of elasticity is unaffected by the addition of AEH.
