Resumo: | This work presents a method to standardize the measurement of quality of software products. The proposed method utilizes techniques such as QFD (Quality Function Deployment) and recognized standards, like the ISO/IEC-9126 Software engineering Product Quality. The basic premise of this work is that the expectations of the users with regard to software quality are growing, and this emphasize is the necessity of identifying and standardizing parameters for software quality. To identify the user expectations, the proposed method makes use of QFD techniques, mapping the user required quality into software attributes. The standardization of these attributes was achieved through their correlation with quality characteristics defined in the ISO/IEC -9126 standard. Another aspect of this work is that the standardization permits the use of quantitative measures to create a historical database, which can be used to continuously improve the quality of the developed products. Initial experimental results shows that the defined method can address these aspects and make use of a process for system development that standardized quality measurement. |
