Resumo: | With the evolution of technology, companies are being pressured to become actualized by incorporating new existing information technologies. In the area of Management Integrated Systems, companies have some market options. One of the most prominent is the Enterprises Resources Planning, of witch the German company SAP is the leader in the market. This work has tried to study and analyze the benefits proposed and perceived as a result of the deployment of the Management Integrated System ERPIII/SAP and those factors inherent to this process which have facilitated the attainments of these benefits. For this, a case study, was done in two companies with s large representation in the area in witch they act: Aracruz Celulose and Cemig. For the theoretical reference, aspects related to information technology, the Management Integrated Systems and ERPIII/SAP were studied. By means of interviews with company managers, it could be seen that the implementation of the system resulted in benefits for the companies. In the cases studied, it could be seen that the system contributed to theintegration of the companies promoting na inter-relationship andinterdependence among the activities of different areas of the companies,witch results in a control on the part of user. By research done it can be seen that the implamentation of an Management Integrated Systems is a complex process of organizational change, witch involves questions concerning technology, organization and people. It has been observed that the fact of implementing the ERPIII/SAP does not generate a reduction in cost or ability to complete in the marketing unless it is associated with the stategic vision of then company. |
