Resumo: | This dissertation discusses the tension between the libertarian paradigm of open source movement and the economics interests inside the communities of development of software, through a case study of SugarCRM enterprise. This company specialized itself in the modality described as commercial open source, defining a business strategy that combines the communitarian web develompment and the distribution of different versions of the Service. One of the versions is basic in terms of functionality and licensed through a more limited license. The theoretical reference, based in the theories of Eric Beinhocker and Yochai Benkler, is used to contextualize and structure the understanding of the dynamics inside the enterprise. The work shows a wide broad view of the subject, through the scope of Information Science, and uses the methodology of version of the literature and case study. |
