Resumo: The present work analyzed the ownership of scientific information in the context of international journals, with the intentionality of reporting and identify what the Brazilian researchers think about the scientific communication, mediated by commercial publishers in contemporaneity; also assessing the intrinsic logic to the processes of evaluation and ranking of authors and journals. For both, study the historicity of scientific communication in international journals: the elements that modifying their initial characteristics until its current configuration. The research also identifies the points of tension between the existing commercial publishers and researchers of two programs of post-graduation (master and doctorate) at Federal University of Minas Gerais, with grade seven in the CAPES evaluation. Being analyzed the Physics and Education post-graduation programs: knowledge and social inclusion. Point of tension identified using as method the realization of semi-structured interviews with the coordinators of such programs. The research, finally, analyzes quantitatively the ownership of scientific information produced by international publishers in the year 2014 in the two post-graduation programs that were performed the interviews.
