Resumo: | This study sheds lights on the creation of a dance spetacle in the integral education context, with the participation of various schools and from a formative process. The project A educação integral nos palcos da cidade puts forth a training process led by assistant choreographers focused on the development of a collective creative performance in municipal schools of Belo Horizonte. From the perspective of the choreographers, which is accessed through semi-structured interviews, the research intends to investigate the transformative potential of the project regarding aesthetic awareness and access to the local cultural assets, such as theaters. These local networks and communities were approached as a rhizome, and the insertion in this map was done with cartographic inspiration. The reports revealed that the greatest power perceived by the interviewees was the possibility of congregation, which enhances their professional possibilities and reduces the feeling of isolation in school work. The stage, which represents a sacred space for art, cathalized the educational process, and brought forth values considered important by students. From the perspective of the interviewees, teachers and school workers were not effectively touched by the result of the project. The access to leisure and culture of those involved in the project proved to be feeble. In the context of educational public policies, for a society to become increasingly democratic and inclusive, discussions about the importance of leisure as a citizen's right must also be guided in the educational context, and exemplarily in the perspective of integral education as demonstrated in this study. |
