Resumo: | The present work aims to present the Fernando Henrique Cardosos theoretical construction about dependence, in his proposal of associated development, as well as his view towards made to state structure in Brazil. Therefore, the study starts analyzing the farewell speech delivered by the newly elected President in the Senate in 1994. After this, a resumption of the tradition of Brazil thinkers is undertaken attempting to verify how those authors were used as starting point for the development of Cardosos theories. Subsequently we analyze more carefully some of his major works to see how this construction is tuned not only with his speeches in the 1990s but also with the changes in the Brazilian legal system, majorly seen constitutional amendments. Finally, it takes some of the main criticisms that have worked throughout the paper and is exposed the present, and, therefore, the need to deconstruct the assumptions of the political project systematized in Brazil during both of FHCs term as a president (1995-2002). |
