Resumo: | Eight completely randomized experimental design were carried out to estimate crudeprotein, metabolizable energy, methionine + cistine and total lysine requirements of twogenetic groups, EV1 and EV2, of meat type quails during the growing period. Crudeprotein and metabolizable energy requirements for weight gain from hatch to 21th day ofage of EV1 and EV2 genetic groups are 30.08 and 29.81% and 2900 kcal of ME/kg ofdiet and from hatch to 42nd day of age, 29.45% and 29.81% of CP, and 2900 and 3100kcal of ME/kg of diet, respectively. Methionine + cystine requirements for weight gainof meat type quails from 7th do 21st day of age of EV1 and EV2 genetic groups are .95and .95%, and higher weight gain from 7th to 42nd of age are observed for quails fed .73and 1.03% methionine + cystine diets, respectively. Total lysine requirements forweight gains of EV1 and EV2 genetic groups from hatch to 21st day are 1.75 and 1.66%of the diet, and from hatch to 42nd day of age, 1.65 and 1.62% of diet, respectively |
