Resumo: | The primary objective of this work is show the experimental implementation of automated quantum state transformation in photonic states of dimension 3 (qutrits), prepared in Gaussian transverse paths of photons. A qutrit state is simulated by using three laser beams with Gaussian profile, and after an operation realization one obtains a qutrit state in Gaussian transverse paths. The state transformation setup uses a Spatial Light Modulator to perform amplitude and phase control of the initial state components and a calcite-based longitudinal interferometer. Here we implemented projections in some qutrit state as well permutation operations of the initial state path components. The results shown a good agreement with the theoretical predictions. This work open the possibilities of perform more general operations in quantum states prepared in the transversal path of photons, besides this setup enables the implementation of sequential operations in photonic qutrits in transversal path, wich is an importat step to apply photonic qutrits in Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information studies in wich is needed to perform sequential operations in the initial state. |
